A classic lightweight wool tailored 1940's  grey weave suit, great vintage wardrobe addition.
The split lapels are framed by a solid shoulder line with shoulder pads inside the lining.  The princess seams stretch the full line of the jacket and outline the folded patch pockets, highlighted by black velvet accents. The slender waistline highlights the long line of the jacket, fastened by 4 black buttons, which sit perfectly over the clean line of the skirt.

Condition:
The suit is in near perfect condition with a few light pin size marks to the skirt, these cannot be seen when worn, only on close inspection.  The skirt has been let out at some point and an extra piece of material added to the waist band, this is not quite a match, but cannot be seen when being worn
